Graphic Designer 

Position Summary

The Graphic Designer is responsible for adhering to brand standards and collaboratively working with the design team to drive the creative process. Utilizing exceptional design skills, the graphic designer demonstrates innovation in creating original brand designs and/or consumer packaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal clients to turn creative strategy into flawless execution.
  • Effectively develop and persuasively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale.
  • Lead the creative development process and design efforts for assigned categories with minimal supervision.
  • Uphold design and brand standards.
  • Create and maintain design/style guides and work with counterparts to ensure continuity across category lines/areas of focus.
  • Proactively drive multiple projects from concept through production while ensuring designs consistently meet objectives, on time and on budget.
  • Mentor design staff in best design practices.
  • Provide on-target art direction and photo direction.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
  • 3+ years graphic design experience
  • Packaging and/or brand design experience
  • Flexible and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
  • Demonstrate a high level of critical thinking and problem solving
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and ability to make persuasive presentations
  • Strong skills and knowledge in print production, package design, brand design, page layout, and a mastery of print media
  • Extreme proficiency in the latest version of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Office.
  • Self motivated and self directed, with very high quality standards
  • Ability to demonstrate versatility among design and style genres
